The former boxer Charlie Kenton drives his truck to promote fights with his robot Ambush. When he has just lost a fight, he is summoned to a hearing and forced to take care of his unknown eleven year-old son Max Kenton since his mother has passed away. Charlie loses another fight with the Noisy Boy robot that his girlfriend Bailey Tallet has just bought and he goes with Max to a junkyard to collect parts of robots to build a new one. However, Max finds an old sparring robot named Atom and Charlie teaches him how to box. Atom becomes a winner and Max and Charlie become closer to each other. However, Charlie has an agreement to deliver Max to his aunt and her wealthy husband / creator=Jeremy Leven / Sport, Sci-Fi

What the kid did to ruin the movie: 1. the kid was. ing annoying all the movie, screaming and yelling about him not wanting this and that... 2. For some reason he managed to pull the robot(that saved his life on that cliff) which most likely ways about 500 kg, up a very long mud hill. while it was raining, so the mud was all slippery. 3. he didn't like hamburgers, or wait no, he didn't like the bag that hamburgers will be put in in the future. 4. HE had to % ing dance. NO ONE wants to see little 11 years old kids dance around with there robots like nobody is watching. 5. the part where he ran into the robot boxing ring and jumped up and grabbed the Mic from the guy who describes the fight, and starts yelling something, i didn't hear any of it because of his annoying voice, and for some reason eevery one likes what he is saying and starts clapping for him and what not.
The only futuristic things in the movie were the robots, the cellphones and the computers that the Asians used in the last 2 fights.
the movie could have been so good but they managed to put a little annoying spoiled brat in there to ruin the movie.
